White water kayaking 10/12-13/24

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, MWW did its very first kayak clinic where members who have never experienced whitewater kayaking enjoyed the new rush of adventure. On Friday, they had an in-class lesson on reading whitewater, how to move with the boat, safety signals, and much more. Saturday they headed out to Lake Tugaloo to fit our kayaks, get geared up, and practice some rolls and wet exits. Finally, on Sunday they took it to a new level and did ~3 miles on the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River hitting class II and an optional class III. Great Success!
