Poi Workshop

On March 21st we conducted our Poi educational workshop. Poi is a movement and flow based art form that hails from the Māori people of New Zealand/Aotearoa. Flow toys assist us in carrying out this art form. Our president and education officer helped demonstrate to members how to use flow toys and members who felt ready got the chance to do fire poi in a controlled environment. This workshop help our officers and members bond over an art form that is familiar to some of us and brand new to most!
