To help our community, Officer Ryan led a group of members on a service trip with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday. Despite the heat, they completed a full day of hard work and made an incredible difference!

This weekend Yvette and Bowen led a group to hike part of the Appalachian Trail from Sam’s Gap to Big Bald! After a day of conquering 3000 ft of elevation gain, they enjoyed a gorgeous sunset and some cowboy camping!

Last week, Ryan and Harris took a trip up to Sumter National Forest, first hiking 3.1 miles to visit the beautiful bifurcating beady cascades bending through Yellow Branch Falls. After reveling in the sight of the site, they plunged deep into the damp, daunting darkness of the Stumphouse Tunnel, initially renovated for a railroad but abandoned during its construction. They finished our trip with a short hike to an outstanding overlook of the towering Isaqueena falls!
